Springfield-William David Richards, 68, passed away October 27, 2023 at Memorial Health.

The Cobb County native retired from Gulfstream as a ME2.  He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and gardening with plants.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Clemon Richards and Elsie Maggie Nease Richards; wife, Patricia Ann Taylor Richards; and son, William David Richards, Jr.

Survivors include his son, Brandon Richards; grandchildren, Brice Richards, Natalie Richards, and Zackary Maddox; sister, Cathy Shearouse (Wayne); brother, Steven Richards (Jennifer); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2023 at the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow in Bethesda Church at Midland Cemetery.
