Obituary

Mr. William "Bubba" Rogers, 70, of Bulloch County, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at The Oaks at Pooler.

He was born in Savannah and was a long-time resident of Chatham County before moving to Bulloch County in 2006.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William L. Rogers, Sr. & Norma Belle Brantley Rogers, his wife, Mary Jane Galletta Rogers, and a sister, Norma Jean Kelly.  He retired from Georgia Power after over 30 years of service.

Survivors include his children, Vicky Stevens (Bob), Brett Aiken, Billy Rogers (Mary), Brad Aiken (Catie), and Christopher Rogers (Barbara); grandchildren, Chandler Rogers, Gracie Rogers, Haley Rogers, Adam Rogers, Zachary Rogers, Braden Aiken, Addisyn Aiken, Lily Aiken, and Nickolas Stevens; great-granddaughter, Brinley Mae Rogers; sister, Carol Williams, and a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Monday, January 4 th from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 W. Hwy. 80 in Pooler.  All CDC and social distancing guidelines will be in place, including the wearing of masks (Chatham County Mandate).

The graveside funeral and burial will be on Tuesday, January 5 th at 1 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens located at 315 Greenwich Road in Savannah with Rev. Darnell Barner officiating.
