William Otis Stanford (91) of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on March 19, 2024.

William, fondly called Otis, was born to David and Annie Stanford on October 2, 1932. He graduated from Commercial High School in 1951. He worked as a lineman for AT&T and later opened his own business, Stanford Communications. He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. He loved Civil War history, poetry, listening to music, and visiting with friends and family.

Otis was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, and son, Owen. He is survived by his four sons: Mark (Alice), Lee (Lee), Bill (Lori), and Bob (Sonja). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 12 noon in the chapel of the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery.
