William Marvin Tebeau

July 2, 1949 – February 1, 2022

William Marvin Tebeau passed away peacefully on February 1, 2022 in his home in Carson City, NV.

He was born in Guyton, GA on July 2, 1949, to Willie Martin (Billy) and Jewell Tebeau.  He graduated from Effingham County High School.  He attended Middle Georgia College and graduated from the University of Georgia in 1971 with a Bachelor's Degree in Science with a Major in Chemistry.  Upon graduation, he was employed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  He continued building his experience with federal and state environmental permitting and natural resource management with Nevada Division of Environmental Protection, and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.  Lastly, he worked for Resource Concepts, Inc. since February 1984 in Carson City, NV.  Marvin served as RCI's Principal Environmental Scientist and Project Manager for environmental and natural resource projects.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Jewell Tebeau.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Tebeau. They shared an incredible 46 years together. Other survivors include his stepdaughter, Stephanie Miller; sisters, Judy Zittrouer and Edie Beiner; two aunts, numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Special thanks to all of his friends and family at RCI for the support during his illness.

The Memorial Service will be 2 pm Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Guyton Christian Church located at 301 Pine St, Guyton, GA 31312. Interment will follow in Guyton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Carson Tahoe Health Philanthropy for Cancer Resource Center at P.O. Box 2168, Carson City, NV 89702

or to a charity of their choice.
