William Stanley Watson, of Bloomingdale, Georgia, 66 years of age, beloved husband, father, and friend, who never met a stranger, was summoned to Heaven by his Lord on January 31st, 2024 after a brief, sudden illness.
Stan was one of those fortunate people who loved life through all that he did. He loved being a truck driver, a mechanic, and an avid motorcyclist. He was always quick with a helping hand and advice, regardless of how plain and to the point it was.
Stan is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Patricia Watson, his one and only loving daughter, Lennie Morgan, his awesome grandson, Jace Morgan, and his one of a kind son-in-law, Michael Morgan.
Stan was a Georgia boy through and through. He loved spending quality time with his loving brothers, Joe and Michael Watson, and also a sister, Shawnnette Krassowski. Stan had a huge number of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, special friends and other loved ones that would be impossible to be listed. If you were not specifically mentioned, please don't be offended, we love and care for you all.
Stan will be escorted across his Golden Bridge Over Troubled Waters by his mother, Carol Ann Weed, and his step-father, Fred Weed.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be given to a local animal shelter of the donor's choice.
The visitation will be on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home – WEST CHATHAM CHAPEL – 901 W. Hwy. 80 – Pooler, GA
