Mr. Willmer Eugene "Gene" Perry, 77, of Pooler, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at his home.
Gene was born in Toombs County to the late Estus & Evelyn Perry. He was a member of the Pooler Seventh Day Adventist Church and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He retired from the U.S. Army after 20 plus years as well as the U.S. Postal Service after 19 years.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca "Becky" Perry; daughter, Joy Perry-Jaqua (Paul); granddaughter, Isabella Jaqua; brother-in-law, Max Williams; sister-in-law, Terry (George) Tebault, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
