Winifred Larue "Winnie" Crenshaw

Beaufort, SC- Winifred Larue "Winnie" Crenshaw, 80, died Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

The Bulloch County native was born October 22, 1937 to Joshua G. and Ellamae Blackburn Riggs. She was married to Paul Leon Crenshaw on July 3, 1958. Winnie was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on September 25, 1971 and she started pioneering on March 1, 1986, it snowed that day. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Leon Crenshaw; a daughter, Joanna Larue Crenshaw; and a brother, Leland Riggs.

She is survived by her sons, Ronald Paul Crenshaw (Charlene) and Donald Leon Crenshaw (Brenda); grandchildren, Barry Crenshaw (Renee), Eric Crenshaw (Shontaye), Kyle Crenshaw (Olivia), Alex Crenshaw, and Donni Ferguson; great-grandchildren, Luke and Alexis Crenshaw, Jovenci Lumbano, and Chloe and Quinn Berry; best friend for over 50 years, Clara Welch, and Brenda Caraway of 20 years; and many other dear friends.

Memorial Service: 2 pm Saturday, June 9, 2018 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Effingham Memorial Gardens.
