Meldrim-Mrs. Winifred S. Morris, 88, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2009.

Mrs. Morris was born in Bulloch County to the late S.B. & Inez Knight Smith. She was
Past Worthy Matron of the Richard T. Turner Order of the Eastern Star and a member of
the Meldrim Baptist Church. Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her husband, Robert
W. Morris and a son, John N. Morris.

She is survived by a sister, Jane S. Peschang of Savannah; brother-in-law, Travis Nichols
of Pooler; daughter and son-in-law, Beth (Edd) Jones of Savannah; son, James W. Morris
of Meldrim; grandchildren, Cathy (Mike) Royal, Michael (Vanessa) Jones, Rebecca
(Richard) Schmidt, Mitchell (Terri) Jones, Kristi Morris and Kim Smith; ten
great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Graveside Funeral: 3 p.m. on Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
