Wylene Tanner Bennett
Rincon – Wylene Tanner Bennett, 88, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016 at her residence.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rincon where she had sung with the Jolly Singers, and was a homemaker.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Remo and Nellie Mae Tanner; her husband, Louis V. Bennett; sisters, Evelyn Powell, Gaynelle Reardon, Aremillis McMillan, Barbara Jean Owens; and brother, Roger Tanner.
Survivors include her daughters, Bonnie (Eddie) Mikell and Sharon Browne all of Rincon; grandchildren, Mark (Bronwyn) Fuller, Scott (Leslie) Mikell, and Brett (Stephanie) Mikell; great-grandchildren, Ariana, Kayleigh, Tanner,and Ashlynn.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Gentiva Hospice for the care provided to their mother.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 12 noon in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
