Mrs. Yvonne Barnes Garfield, 80, of Pooler, GA, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at her home.

She was born in Savannah, GA to the late William D. & Elizabeth Cawthon Barnes.  She was also preceded in death by her son, Wes Stanford.  She was a volunteer for a number of years with the Christian Women's Assocation and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.  She worked for Mack Truck and Garfield Construction Company.  She enjoyed camping, traveling, bowling, boating, square dancing, gardening, baking cakes and her Dominoes group.  She will be remembered as being a prankster.

Survivors include her husband, Mickey Garfield; daughter, Arlene Kicklighter (David); grandchildren, Amber Kicklighter Martin(Joel), Heather Kicklighter Walker, Cory Kicklighter (Danielle), and Gary Stanford Davis; great-grandchildren, Jared and Zac Martin, River Walker, Carigan, Kaney, Kambry, and Kora Kicklighter; brother, Keith Barnes (Jackie); three step-children and a number of step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and nieces.

The visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the funeral home.  The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
