Garden City-Mrs. Yvonne J. McAuley, 86, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014 at Westview Nursing Home.
Mrs. Yvonne was born in Center, Texas to the late Jewel & Eva Johnson. She was a member of the Garden City United Methodist. She was a homemaker and had sold Sarah Coventry Jewelry in Chatham County for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Fred M. McAuley, Sr.; three sons, Fred M. McAuley, Jr. and his wife, Elaine, of Green Cove Springs, FL, Charles McAuley of Acworth, and Richard H. McAuley of Garden City; grandchildren, Grant McAuley, Monica Stengel, Kyle McAuley and Kasey McAuley; great-grandchildren, Cooper McAuley and Alice Stengel, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 2 until 3 p.m. on Sunday with the funeral following at 3 p.m., all in the chapel of the funeral home.
The graveside funeral and burial will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens located at 315 Greenwich Road in Savannah.
