Zachary W. "Zak" Murphy, age 34, of Townsend, passed away April 20, 2019.

Zak was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Vance W. Murphy, Sr.

He is survived by his parents, Bill and Terri Murphy, of Townsend; brother, Jonathan (Melinda) Murphy, of Guyton; nephew, Jackson Murphy; niece, Willa Murphy; grandparents, Ed and Sallie Wallace Griffin, of Townsend, and Mildred Yarbrough, of Alpine, TX. and the love of his life, Nancy Vongsaona.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 24 ^th from 10 -11 a.m with a funeral service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
