Springfield- Alan Bishop Reeve, 73, passed away January 18, 2026 at his home.
The Eugene, Oregon native was retired from Georgia Pacific Plywood Division. Alan had served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He loved life, cooking, making others laugh, and being with his entire family. He had been a member of Redeemer Baptist Church since 2010, where he served his Lord and Savior. He also loved his dog, "Buddy", who had been his companion since his wife, Wendy died in 2022.
Survivors include his children, Christina Meyers (Tristram) and Jason Alan Reeve (Tiffany); grandchildren, Caleb Meyers (Quinn), Casey McDonald (Noah), Caitlin Holifield (Charlie), James Meyers, Aiden Reeve, Natalie Reeve, Tayler Deas, and Hannah Barnes; great-grandchildren, Oliver, Sophia, Malcolm, Ezra, and Zebadiah; sister, Cheri Burton (Jerry); brother, Rick Reeve (Stephanie); sisters-in-law, Cathy Haywood (Bob) and Vivian Kish; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation: 4 - 5 pm Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Redeemer Baptist Church.
Funeral: 5 pm Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Redeemer Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Redeemer Baptist Church Mission Fund.
