Frank Forrest Floyd, III

Guyton – Frank Forrest Floyd, III, 26, passed away December 28, 2018.

Forrest was born September 23, 1992 in Savannah, grew up in Effingham where he graduated from South Effingham High School in 2011 and enjoyed playing baseball and football.  He was a Barber, a good listener, and loved talking.  He had a big heart and never came in contact with a stranger and  most of all was a loving father.  He enjoyed hunting and especially duck hunting.  He loved the Sun and watersports,  was a daredevil, and could tear up a hammer.

He is survived by his parents, Forrest and Nancy Floyd; sister, Kylie Floyd (Mike Judson); son, Baby Forrest; fiancée, Kayla Bland; nephew, Theo Judson; grandfather, Frank Neville Floyd; grandmother, Betty Holsenbeck Gercken; uncles and aunts, Tracy and Will Floyd, Joe and Georgette Gercken; cousins, Luke, Grant, Sam, Erica, and Eden; and numerous other relatives.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel.

Interment will be private.
