Robert L. Dasher, Sr., 53, of Guyton, GA, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Memorial Health University Medical Center after a courageous fight with COVID.

Robert was born August 8, 1968 and lived all of his life in the Marlow community.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger W. Dasher and Mazie Eleen Dasher, and brothers, Joseph Mixon and Roger (Billy) Dasher.

Robert was employed at Gulfstream and formerly worked at Georgia Pacific.  He loved spending time outdoors, working in the garden, and going to the Ogeechee River or Clark Hill.  Another joy was his membership in the Black Creek Men's Golf Association.  Above all else, he loved his family and strived to make their lives better.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Lori Hitchens Dasher; children, Robert Dasher, Jr. of Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Nolan Dasher, Maggie Dasher and April Ansley (Jamie) of Guyton;  he is also survived by a brother, Rusty Dasher (Terra) of Springfield; grandchildren, Arissa, JaLynn, Jayce, and Asher, as well as in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Tuesday, September 7th from 3-4 p.m. at the Sand Hill Baptist Church followed by the funeral in the sanctuary at 4 p.m.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  MASKS MUST BE WORN.
